In this talk, a method to construct a class of simple smooth modules over affine Lie algebras will be provided. These modules are not highest weight modules. Such simple modules over the Virasoro algebra or the Neveu-Schwarz superalgebra do not exist.

加拿大Wilfrid Laurier大学教授。主要研究方向为无限维李代数表示论及非交换代数。曾入选中科院百人计划，并获得加拿大Wilfrid Laurier大学研究教授荣誉。在在Adv. Math.、Proc. London Math. Soc.、Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.、Israel J. Math.、Math. Z.、Selecta Math.（N.S.）、J. Algebra、J. Pure Appl. Algebra等杂志发表高水平学术论文140余篇，主持多项国家自然科学基金项目，及加拿大研究理事会基金项目。
